Food is the basic need of all living things. Green plants can prepare their own food. Animals cannot prepare their own food. They depend on plants and other animals for food. Depending on the type of food they need, the animals are devided into herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. Herbivores are plant-eating animals. Carnivores are flesh-eating animals. Omnivores are animals which eat both plants and meat. The feeding habit of animals depend upon the parts of their body. Teeth, mouth parts, claws and legs are important parts that help animals when they are feeding. Herbivores mammals have more grinding teeth. Carnivores mammals have long pointed teeth to hold their prey and razor sharp cheek teeth to tear meat. Omnivores animals have all the three kinds of teeth. Some herbivores chew the cud and they are ruminants. Butterflies and moths have proboscis to suck nector from flowers. Leeches, mosquitoes and bugs suck blood of animals and human beings.

We may take up some work on the spur of the moment. We ignore certain important pontes and go right on with the work. It is when we reach a point from where there is no way back that we realize the importance of the details ignored by us. We find that we do not have the strength to do it. We realize that we have not the necessary knowledge to do the work. We learn that we have neither the money nor the time, But by now it is too late. We leapt with out looking . many do not know these features of work. One should have the aptitude for the work. There should be the physical capacity for the work. And of course there is the problem of money. Children more than adults go wrong here. They challenge or accept a challenge without thinking of the consequences. They promise money or help without any thought of where they are to get it. They offer to do some work which they are not able to do. In the end they bring shame upon themselves

Most of us are often lead by appearances. But they often mislead us. This is true in the case of men as well as in the case of materials. Certain things that look like gold betray even those who gave learnt that ‘ all that glitters is not gold’. There are certain persons whose appearance and manners are attractive, but who are really cheats. Certain products of poor quality which have, captivating names and are advertised fantastically often us to buy them. We must know that appearance are often deceptive and avoid judging things and men by them. We must first try to know the real quality of something or someone before judging it or him to be good or bad.

If we do not have it now, try to build it patiently. In future it will help you lot. There lies our importance.

Try ourselves to find out what are the potential skills that are to be taken out for ………. Surely, god has inserted a valuable skill in each body. We cannot eradicate it, but possible to support it wherever needed. Let us give favorable and positive boost to our virtuous areas.

This is a challenging stage for all of us. Fight and conquer well to seek, find and establish our identity and position. No one will give you a way to go ahead smoothly; instead we should think over it. Do not retreat from our on going path. Retreat is like, committing …….. So much disappointment and hardships may be there to block you further progress but be bold and active to face all the adverse effects properly. Work hard; pray devotionally, success will be others. Our deeds are countable, but dreams and desires won’t count. So, do something, beneficial to all. It is a concrete proof. Words are like bubbles, vanish soon.

Finally, I have to mention one thing more. All our deeds are to be evaluated and scored one day, after death. Try to score A + there also, as we are trying to secure A+ in all subjects. Service to man is service to God. Remember this, none can escape from the last judgment day. Every night, before sleep, we have to trade with our death, to know whether virtues or vices stand ahead. If virtues come in front, we are gainers; otherwise we will be the losers. So, my students love your parents, teachers and elders, do something for the whole community, work hard and score high marks, remember the service of this institution and help whenever needed with co-operative and collaborative tie up.
