Women Empowerment

In the last four decades, there has been a very significant rise in the number of lower middle and middle class women who seek employment to supplementheir house hold income. while there is little doubt that women from the lower ranks of society have always had to work in the fields or in petty jobs to sustain them selves and their families, there were strong objections and a marked reluctance among the middle classes to allow women to step out of the house to earn a living. their basic role continued to be gender- based, as daughters, wives and mothers. much has changed since independence.

Education, greater opportunities for acquiring diverse skills, growing urbanizations, rise in cost of living and growing aspiration for a better standard of living are among the many factors that have led to a continual rise in the number of women who seek a job, whether in the home of out side, in the process, erstwhile prejudices and barriers about women entering certain professions are breaking down.(171)

Medicinal use of Mustard

Mustard is used as remedy for the following few problems:

Bronchitis:
Take mustard tea thrice a day (mix 1 tsp of mustard flour cup in boiling water and leave for 5 minutes).
Muscular and skeletal pains:
It stimulates circulation in pain area and thus help to relieve pain.

Fever and cold:
Take Mustard tea.

FARMING A LIVELYHOOD

Farming was once the chief way of life in nearly every country. People cannot live without food, and nearly all their food comes from crops and animals raised on farms. Many other materials such as cotton and wool also come from plants and animals raised on farms. Not many people farm for a living any more, but farming remains the most important occupation in the world.
Prior to the twentieth century, the typical American family lived on a small farm. They raised hogs, cattle, sheep, chickens, and planted corn, fruits, garden vegetables, hay, and wheat. Everyone worked long and hard, but the results were often meager. Families barely harvested enough food for themselves. This situation began to change during the last half of the 1800's and it changed remarkably in the next century. iving any more, but farming remains the most important occupation in the world.

Zeppelins

A dirigible was an airship that could be steered. It was nothing more than an elongated gas –filled bag with cars below to carry passengers. Unlike a blimp, it had a rigid structure inside it to help it keep its shape. A rigid dirigible nearly 420 feet long and 38 feet in diameter was built by Count Ferdinand Von Zeppelin in Germany in 1899. The Germans used zeppelins to drop bombs from the sky during World War I.

In the 1820s the Scottish explores Hugh Clpperton and Walter Oudney, And English soldier Dixon Denham crossed the Sahara and made friends with Arab leaders. If a person spent a day in the Sahara with no shade, food, water, or clothes, their temperature would be about 46oC by sunset, and they would have lost 2-3.5 litres of water. By night fall they would be dead.
